Please bring your math book, binder paper and a pencil. We will continue to work on decimals

You will have problems to complete today but I will explain them over our math sessions. I will post the answers on google classroom at 12:00 and then you may turn in your work with your corrected score

Language Arts:
Find the Spelling definitions for your new Spelling Words and then turn them into google classroom today 

Complete the Perfect Tense Grammar worksheet on google classroom. I've posted directions on google classroom. I've made a copy for all of you so please write directly on the google doc :)

Biography Project: We will discuss this over zoom today at 11 but there is one thing I need you to do before then. I need you to pick someone famous in history that you want to complete a research project on. You will be telling me your choices over zoom today

Read for 30 minutes and complete a reading journal entry. I will be checking them on Friday so you will have to turn in 5 entries into google classroom by then. You may write them all on one google doc or write them down separately. Don't forget to use 7up sentences and to date EACH one of them

We will start our reteaching and review for our test next week over zoom 
at 10:30. You will have problems to complete which I will explain over zoom.
We will also be discussing our religion chapter and sharing
some Wonder Walls during this zoom session :)

Language Arts:
  Vocabulary test on zoom as a whole class from 9:00-10:00. Please be on 
time and be ready to take your test
  
 Start working on your Biography Project due Monday, May 4th
 I have posted instructions on google classroom but you can also 
ask me questions over zoom. Please don't forget your essay needs to
be typed on a google doc.

You may build it out of any materials you have at home! 
Your boat doesn't need to be very large. It can be any size.
Then I want you to record yourself explaining how you created your boat
and you also need to record yourself testing your boat out!
I want you to put your boat in water and see how much weight it can hold! 
Try testing it out and putting some items in it to see if it will float!

Perspective Art Drawing due: Friday
I've left a link that gives you instructions on how to complete this. All you need are paper, black marker and either crayons or markers. 
One thing you will need to make sure you do is to fold your paper so there are 4 sections. Once you have divided your paper, you will need to start your drawing at the bottom section of your paper.
You do NOT need to draw what the example shows you. In fact, I want you to come up with your own creative idea! 
As always, make sure to add a lot of details please and make it very colorful. This isn't due until Friday and it's something you can work on in the afternoons when you have extra time :)

But remember you use simple and irregular verbs to show WHEN the action happened.
For example:
 past tense: Ralphie walked across the street even though it was a cold and rainy day. The verb is walked and it's past tense.
present tense: Ralphie runs across the bridge because he loves to smell the flowers.
The verb is runs and it's present tense.
future tense: Ralphie will jump in the sand at Ocean beach because he loves the beach!
The verb is will jump and it's future tense.

This means that you first have to create a blueprint (remember a blueprint is a design) on paper and then create/build the kite out of any sort of recycled materials you have at home! Be creative as possible! Then, try it outside and see if it can fly! 
You need to also record yourself explaining your design, what materials you used to create your kite and testing it out. Was it able to fly?
