Zoom sessions are mandatory and please try to be on time. If you can't make one, please check in with me

Monday 4/27 Minimum day:
Math:
We will be meeting on zoom in 2 different sessions to work on math today.
Please bring your math book, binder paper and a pencil. We will continue to work on decimals

Zoom Math Groups:

#1-11:  9:00-9:40

#12-21: 9:50-10:30

You will have problems to complete today but I will explain them over our math sessions. I will post the answers on google classroom at 12:00 and then you may turn in your work with your corrected score

Language Arts:

Find the Spelling definitions for your new Spelling Words and then turn them into google classroom today

Complete the Perfect Tense Grammar worksheet on google classroom. I've posted directions on google classroom. I've made a copy for all of you so please write directly on the google doc :)

Biography Project: We will discuss this over zoom today at 11 but there is one thing I need you to do before then. I need you to pick someone famous in history that you want to complete a research project on. You will be telling me your choices over zoom today

Read for 30 minutes and complete a reading journal entry. I will be checking them on Friday so you will have to turn in 5 entries into google classroom by then. You may write them all on one google doc or write them down separately. Don't forget to use 7up sentences and to date EACH one of them

Social Studies:
Finish the Thinking about Facts on pg.166

Read Study Skills:Reading Time Lines pg.156 and 157 
and then complete Applying Study Skills: Reading Time Lines pg. 167 (1-5) 

To make sure you have finished all of your chapter review you need to have completed:

This should all be completed by today and we will correct this together over zoom tomorrow

Please read Chapter 11 pg.168-180. Then answer the review questions I've 
provided for you on google classroom. Please make sure to add as many details
as possible in your responses. I've made a copy for you so please write directly on
the google doc. Don't finish Chapter 11 as we will finish it during our zoom read 
aloud on Thursday

Study for your Vocabulary test: tomorrow

Wednesday 4/29:

Math:

We will start our reteaching and review for our test next week over zoom 

at 10:30. You will have problems to complete which I will explain over zoom.

We will also be discussing our religion chapter and sharing

some Wonder Walls during this zoom session :)

Language Arts:

  Vocabulary test on zoom as a whole class from 9:00-10:00. Please be on 

time and be ready to take your test

  

 Start working on your Biography Project due Monday, May 4th

 I have posted instructions on google classroom but you can also 

ask me questions over zoom. Please don't forget your essay needs to
be typed on a google doc.

Make a boat! First you need to create a blueprint (remember a blueprint is a design). 

You may build it out of any materials you have at home! 

Your boat doesn't need to be very large. It can be any size.
Then I want you to record yourself explaining how you created your boat
and you also need to record yourself testing your boat out!
I want you to put your boat in water and see how much weight it can hold! 

Try testing it out and putting some items in it to see if it will float!

Continue working on your Biography Project due Monday, May 4th

We have a Percy Jackson read aloud on zoom. Please come prepared with 
your book and be ready to answer questions. We will also answer our question of the week
