Bring your chapter review to our Zoom meeting today at 9:30 so we can correct it :) 
We will take your test while on zoom on Wednesday.

Watch this video on decimal word form and standard form to help you get introduced to our new topic which will be decimals

Since we are starting a new topic, we will meet on zoom in 2 separate sessions tomorrow to work on this. Please bring your math book, binder paper and a pencil

Read "Real Pirates" on pg.392 in your language arts book and then answer the review questions I've provided for you on google classroom-due tomorrow, April 7th
Please make sure to be using complete sentences and to add as many details as possible in your responses.
This is due tomorrow so you will have to time to finish it then :)

Read for 30 minutes and complete a reading journal entry. I will be checking them once we return from Easter break but you should have 3 entries from this week. Please make sure to be using 7up sentences and to date each one of them.

Social Studies: due today, April 6th
Read Study Skills:Reading Time Lines pg.156-157
Then complete the Reviewing the skill questions for Study Skills on pg.157 (1-4)

 STEM: due Wednesday, April 8th
You have two choices:
Create a dance: come up with some dance moves to your favorite song and then record yourself and turn it into google classroom. It doesn't have to be the whole song! I won't share these with the class if you aren't comfortable with sharing yours :)
Or
Create an origami fortune teller and in each of the 8 flaps, you must add very detailed fortunes of what you think our future will be like in ten years. Then record yourself explaining each fortune and turn that into google classroom

I will post your futuristic phone videos later this week!

Now that we've discussed Holy Week I want you to read the story of Holy Week and answer the review questions. I've made a copy for everyone so you should be able to write directly on the google doc. This is due: Today

Science:
 Water Pollution Poster: due: Wednesday, April 8th
  I want you to create a poster about water pollution.You may use our book, the videos we've watched as your research but you also may look up more facts!
 On this poster you need to include:
1.What is water pollution
2.Explain 4 different reasons how water is polluted-don't just list the way,also explain how the water is polluted. You may add more than just 4 if you wish :)
3.Explain at least two different ways we can stop water pollution and conserve our water
4.Explain why conserving water and ending water pollution is so important. Be persuasive about this! Pretend you need to convince me :)
5.Make sure your poster is neatly written and creative! You also need to add drawings on this poster. If you want, you may make it a newspaper article, a movie poster, a science book cover, etc
Then record yourself explaining your poster and turn that into google classroom.
Please also take a clear photo of your poster and turn that into google classroom as well.
This is due: tomorrow, April 8th so you will have time to work on it then!

Complete pg.271 (15-28). I will post the answers on google classroom at 1:30 and then after you correct your work, turn it into google classroom
Reminders: 
if you have a decimal such as 3.47
3 is in the ones place, 4 is in the TENTHS place and 7 is in the HUNDREDTHS place
to write 3.47 in expanded form it would look like this: 3+0.4+0.07
word form would look like: three and forty seven hundredths
